Milks

Almond Milk

  • 1 cup whole raw almonds soaked in 3 cups water for 24 hours drained and rinsed.
  • 3 cups purified or spring water
  • 6 large pitted dates
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
  • Blend ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour puree through a fine mesh strainer or a sprout bag to remove the almond skin and pulp.

Elaine Love sells The Amazing Nut-Milk Juice and Sprout Bag for ease of straining. When refrigerated nut milks will keep for 2 days. One can drink this by the bottle glass or put over cereals and grains.

Almond Cream

  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
  • Blend ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove the almond skin and pulp.

A thicker sweeter version of Almond Milk. Use like you would whipped cream over fruit pies or cakes.

Amazake Rice Beverage

  • 1 part Amazake to two parts water (for babies younger than 6 months)
  • 1 part Amazake to one part water (for babies older than 6 months)
  • Add 1/2 capsule each of bifidus algae and enzymes and you have a sweet milk very close to mother's milk.

Breast milk consultant Sheila Janakod MPH analyzed super Blue Green Algae her findings were that Super Blue Green Algae (SBGA) by Cell Tech has a similar range of macro- and micronutrients as breast milk. SBGA is an immune booster that stimulates killer cells.

Sprouted Quinoa Mylk

  • 1 cup sprouted quinoa
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 6 large pitted dates
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

Banana Mylk

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 soaked and pitted dates
  • filtered water
  • Pit the dates and cover with filtered water for 1 hour.
  • Blend dates and soak water until smooth.
  • Add bananas blend until smooth.

Hemp Nog

  • 1 cup hemp seed
  • 3 cups water
  • 4-5 medium pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup raw shredded coconut
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • Blend ingredients until smooth.

Banana Milkshake

  • 1 cup hemp seed
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 4 large pitted dates
  • Blend ingredients together until smooth. No straining needed.
  • Add 1 Tablespoon of carob for a Carob Banana Milkshake.

Hemp will not get you or your baby high. It is an excellent source of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Even better when you find yourself without any soaked nuts you can go to you cupboard for a can of hemp.

Coconut Milk

  • 1 baby coconut
  • Chop off the top of a coconut with a cleaver and pour out the milk.

This is breast milk from a tree. Tim Trader ND uses an electric drill very efficient.

Sunflower Mylk

  • 1 cup soaked and sprouted sunflower seeds (6-8 hours)
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 3-5 dates
  • 1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

Banana Coconut Milk

  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup coconut (fresh or soaked raw shredded coconut.) Good way to use up the coconut meat from your Coconut milk.
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • Blend until smooth; keep adding water until you have the desired consistency.

Coconut Papaya Milk

  • 1 papaya
  • juice from 1 baby coconut
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • Blend until smooth the coconut and water cuts the sugar from the papaya.
